Class 1/2, 8 miles with about 1350 flow and 1500
considered high. Good ferrying skills required.

March. In like a lion. Out like a lamb. Or as John Belushi said, in Honduras comes in like a lamb and goes out like a salt-marsh harvest mouse. Never mind all that. Let‘s go paddle!
Marys is coming up the next day or two and will drop to about nine feet on the gauge for Saturday. The weather prognosticators say that our local star Sol will be shining its countenance upon us. Wanna go? Class two stuff. I have lunch reservations at the Trestle Extension.
I‘m open to putting in at Harris and taking out at Priest Road or putting in at the bridge five miles west of Philomath at taking out at the Cedar Mill.
Let me know.
NOTE: A few questions on where to camp. Archie Knowles is close but might not be open. Quite a few by Florence and some obscure ‘dispursed‘ spots close to Deadwood are some options. I‘ll be away from email until Monday. We will figure it out early in the weekdays before trip.
Put in: a couple of miles upstream from confluence of Lake Creek.
Take out: 1 mile below Tide.
This run has harder 2s.
Pool drop and slow sections between major rapids. Great run. About as fun as Packsaddle, but somewhat easier. Scheduling a double run for Sat/Sun can camp and do both or just choose one day.
