South Santiam, Lebanon Weir to Herb's Gravel Bar, Class 1+

About an 8 mile paddle launching above Lebanon with takeout below Lebanon. This section of river has little to no wood, has constant flow, no hazards. This paddle has areas of dancing water but is less than whitewater, helmets are not required. Free parking at launch and takeout. This paddle would be suitable for newbies and learners. Since the river is cold, dry suits are recommended. Register for this paddle on WKCC website to receive an Email with details about the launch and takeout. (registration activates your club insurance)
