Flatwater Paddle - Leaburg Reservoir

About this event

Come out and explore Leaburg Reservoir for a leisurely flatwater paddle and then head over to Hendrick’s Park afterwards for WKCC’s 50th Anniversary and Summer Picnic.

This is an easy out and back of approximately 3 miles with a possible option to explore a narrow-hidden passage around a tiny island.

This paddle is appropriate for recreational kayaks, canoes and SUPs. Inflatable kayaks may find this paddle to be somewhat challenging if paddling against wind.

All participants must wear a PFD, carry a whistle and have a Waterway Access Pass if your watercraft is 10 feet or longer.
A Lane County Park Pass is required at this launch.

Access: From Highway 126 about 18 miles east of Springfield, turn right and drive (one way traffic) accross Leaburg Dam. A large gravel parking lot is to the left.
