About the Club

The Willamette Kayak and Canoe Club has a membership of over 200, and is based in the mid-Willamette Valley of Western Oregon in the city of Corvallis. The club's goals are to:

 

  • Organize river and surf outings for its members.
  • Promote water safety.
  • Help members acquire the confidence and skills needed for kayaking and canoeing.
  • Help conserve, preserve and protect the free-flowing rivers of Oregon.
  • Promote the enjoyment, challenges, thrills, and camaraderie of kayaking and canoeing.

 

Bylaws

The club's bylaws are the rules covering election and terms of board members, rights of members, meetings, etc.

Trip Facilitator Information

Club Trips are what makes the WKCC shine.  They are also something that YOU can do. You don't have to be a super boater or a pro to lead a club trip.  In fact, all you need is the desire to get out on the water and the patience to deal with a very small amount of paperwork (mostly making sure people are club members or sign waivers if they aren't).
