Pool rules for KROC Center (may change according to KROC center concerns.)
1. Kayaker must shower before entering pool area.
2. Kayaker must pay ( $5 ) at front desk before entering pool area. Boat will be brought through a door in pool area.
3. Boat must be clean and free of materials that could enter the water. Wash out boats before entering the pool. There is a hose and nozzle in the pool area.
4. NO PUSHING OFF BOTTOM OF POOL WITH PADDLE! The bottom is a special Vinyl rubber that is easily damaged. Surface damage could lead to banning of kayaks from the pool.
5. Session will end promptly at 9:30.
The KROC Center is a beautiful facility, we are lucky to have access, after all the Salem pools closed due to budget cuts. The first pool session will be Dec 16, 2009!
