CAMPING overnight & Sunday June 21

Boaters. Meet at 10:30 am Sat. to kayak, raft, or canoe the North Santiam River. 

Meeting place is at Fishermens Bend for all trips except the Lower-Lower

                      (sorry I don't have meeting information for lower trip)

          Packsaddle Park to Fishermen’s Bend, class 3                          

          Fishermen’s Bend down to Mehama, class 2

           Lower-lower Santiam River, flatwater class B

          The above trips will be led by Russ Pascoe , Ken Keating and Dave Graff  respectively

          Short runs from Mill City to Fishermens Bend, anytime.

Boaters from the Willamette Kayak & Canoe Club and the Lower Columbia Canoe Club, and other boaters, can paddle together and get acquainted.

Friends, Guests, Non-boaters, and Everyone else.

   Snacks, games, and visiting – from Saturday noon on.  Please bring chairs, camp tables, games (soccer, softball, basketball, volleyball, horseshoes), board games, etc. to share during the day on Saturday.

   CAMPING available Saturday night.  We have the area from 9 am Saturday through 9 pm Sunday.  The Firs Group Picnic Shelter area is now reserved for Saturday Night, June 20, for those who want to camp overnight. Camping is permitted in the outer area of the baseball field, as well as several sites in the wooded area around the pavilion.

Potluck Dinner Saturday at 5:30 pm.

Please bring a main dish or a salad. Bring your own plates and utensils.

      Bring a tarp if you have one - forcast is 62 degrees and slight chance rain.

A large Birthday Cake will be provided.

Beverages will be provided (pop, beer, wine)

Rob looks forward to seeing you.

Fishermens Bend State Park is on Oregon 22 between Stayton and Mill City.

It is about 1 ½ miles west of Mill City. From Albany, go through Scio and Mehama.
