Elkhorn Rec. Site to Mehama, run # 115 in Soggy Sneakers (4th ed.). This run includes Troll's Teeth Rapids, which can be portaged (or sometimes paddlers who wish to avoid the class 4 drop can put in several miles downstream of Elkhorn at a place just below Troll's Teeth).  Contact Laurie for info on where to meet.

Opal Creek or Breitenbush, Class 4

 Join Steve on the Little North Santiam River's Opal Creek run: Old Mine to Three Pools, run # 113 in Soggy Sneakers (4th ed.).  If the flow's aren't quite right, then Steve will opt for the Breitenbush River, run # 112 in Soggy.  Be sure to read up on these two class 4 gems to discover what is in store for a paddler on either of these 2 runs.  Contact Steve for meeting time and place.

Run #116 in Soggy Sneakers.  A class 3+ gem with one class 4 drop (Ricochet) near the start. One may choose to put-in below Ricochet.  A strong combat roll and warm clothing are required. Contact Laurie for details about meeting time and place.
